How do I know I’m too tired to continue working? I was just looking for a file called ‘iawiki.png’ and wondering why it wasn’t at the top of an alphabetical list.

Easy: I hallucinate. Inanimate objects on my desk start moving. When that happens I know it’s time to rest
But I think you’re being too hard on yourself with the iawiki.png - the ‘a’ stands out a lot more than the ‘i’.
