Comments are vital to weblogging, yet I decided to close them down and try to do more with trackback links as well as using more quotes within my own entries. While on some level this is unfortunate, it does make you a much smaller target. I've noticed a slight tendency for legitimate comments on older posts to be less interesting anyway (or maybe I'm just sick of that topic by then).
