I’m reading it now. I find it mostly enjoyable, but it is slightly tinged with boringness and originality deficiency. The underlying theme, of pattern recognition within digital media, was already in the background of Idoru and the main character, Cayce Pollard, is very similar to the trend setting, pattern recognising (nodal points in Idoru) character within the elder novel.
But, yeah, I’ll see it through. Shall post later with thoughts once it is read.
